What we offer

MOT testing

We have facilities for Class 4 cars, light vans and motorhomes, and Class 7 larger vans and light horseboxes. MOTs may be booked online or by calling 01606 45062.

Vehicle servicing

Regular servicing helps prevent breakdowns, improves fuel economy and extends your vehicle’s life. It can identify issues early and keep your car reliable and roadworthy. We offer different levels to suit your mileage and budget.

Other routine maintenance

Timing belt or timing chain replacement at the recommended interval can prevent serious engine damage. We have the tooling for most modern vehicles, including common PSA PureTech wet-belt engines found in many Peugeot, Citroën and Vauxhall models.

Repairs

We repair essential components including brakes, suspension and exhaust systems, from minor fixes to full component replacement.

Please call for an estimate. Our base labour rate is £84 per hour (£70 exc. VAT).

Tyres

We have all the equipment to replace, balance and fit tyres. We can usually source the tyres you need on the same day when ordered before 12:30.

Diagnostics

Our modern diagnostic equipment helps us tackle electrical and engine-management issues including brake-system resets, ABS faults, airbag faults and DPF regeneration.

Our diagnostic plug-in rate is £30 (£25 exc. VAT), including a full printout of stored information. Further physical investigation may be charged at our standard hourly rate.

Wheel alignment

Our equipment supports two-wheel tracking adjustments.

Many repairs require specialist skills and equipment. Whether it is a small patch following an MOT failure or a much bigger project, we can carry out the work here at Carcraft Northwich MOT.
